How we operate

Since 1997, we have worked alongside young people in multiple locations, primarily in areas of high deprivation. As a national Christian charity we share a commitment to nurturing long-term projects.

In each area these are led by people with lived experience of the community who are passionate about supporting young people in their neighbourhoods.

We believe in creating safe spaces for young people, fostering meaningful relationships which help them discover their worth.

We do this through open-access youth clubs, mentoring, counselling, family support and structured programmes, depending on the needs of each community we serve.

Our organisation is run by a board of trustees and our Leadership Management Group: (Adele Rogers (Spark/Loughton), Carol Parker-Cowan (Doncaster), Dan Sandford-Smith (Birmingham) and Helen Perry (Waltham Forest).

What being a Christian Charity means to us

Worth Unlimited was founded as a Christian youth work response to marginalisation and exclusion of all kinds, both in faith communities and wider society.

We are wholeheartedly committed to equality and inclusion; being a safe, welcoming and affirming community and celebrating diversity.

We are committed to anti-oppressive practice and are proactive in supporting and safeguarding young people who are at risk because of prejudice and discrimination. You can read our Inclusion Statement here.

As a Christian organisation our values are: include everyone, act with purpose, stand together, invest in participation.

We therefore seek to work for the common good of the whole community.

Worth Unlimited are a group of professional people doing professional youth work for all.
