Quote from a young person:
I haven’t attended formal education for a number of years.
I am a young carer as my mum has epilepsy, meaning she can’t work.
This led to low confidence/self esteem, thoughts of not wanting to be here and struggling with a lack of peer friendships and being isolated.
Over the last 3 years, with the help of Worth Unlimited…
I regularly attend youth clubs and made loads of friends
I volunteer at kids club as a young leader
I am on the local Youth forum and feel like I have a voice
I am going to college in September!!
