To develop our work with children and young people further, we are launching our Level 5 Diploma in Counselling Children and Young people in 2024.
Spark is a well-established mental health project in the Epping Forest area. We were awarded 'Volunteer Organisation of the Year' in 2022 for our supportive environment and CPD opportunities for our Level 4 students and volunteers on placement.
To develop our work with children and young people further, we are launching our Level 5 Diploma in Counselling Children and Young people in 2024. Accredited by CPCAB, this course will enable current Level 4 counsellors who are members of a professional body to further their counselling skills and work therapeutically with children and young people (CYP).
This course will be delivered face to face in Loughton, Essex (Zone 6). Content is based on the BACP Core Competences for Counselling CYP.
Placements will be provided in local schools during term time.
Students enrolling on this Level 5 course will benefit not only from high-quality teaching and tutors with hands-on experience as CYP counsellors, but also from Spark's extensive experience in managing student placements. At the same time our local young people will benefit from Spark's extended capacity and reach.
To apply you must:
£2,500 including CPCAB registration and certificate. A non-refundable deposit of £750 is required within 7 days of confirmation of your place on the course, followed by two later, staggered payments of £875.
