The Thrive Room
Carol (Worth Unlimited Doncaster) had an exciting day last Friday, when she attended a very special opening at Hatfield Woodhouse Primary School.
Staff have been working hard to get a very special room ready for pupils to use. The Thrive Room is a calm place where they can focus on their mental health, so Children’s Mental Health week was a perfect time to hold a special opening ceremony. Carol was especially invited, as this is the room where she meets with pupils who she mentors.

Local MP, Nick Fletcher, cut the ribbon and discussed the importance of supporting younger pupils with their mental health. He met with children, who explained to him how Carol has helped them to learn about their emotions and to develop strategies they can use to support and care for themselves as they move forward.
