New Youth Bus on the way in Waltham Forest
We are delighted to announce that we have raised the necessary funding for a new mobile youth vehicle for our Waltham Forest Branch.
With the generous donations of an anonymous individual and a number of churches we have been able to place an order with Masters Exhibitions for a new vehicle, which is currently in the workshop. The new vehicle will be compliant with the new Ultra Low Emission Zone in London, as well as providing fresh new facilities for young people in the areas and estates that we visit.
Branch Leader, Helen Perry, said "We are so excited about the new youth bus being on the way. The old youth bus has served hundreds of young people really well since we launched it in 2007, but it is looking tired, is expensive to maintain, and won't be suitable for the new emission zone. This specially designed new vehicle will be a smart fresh start for the young people and our team as we emerge post-covid."
The build for the vehicle is expected to take up to three months.
