Inspiring Hope Together: Worth Unlimited unveils exciting new brand as part of 20 Year Celebrations

Christian youth and community charity and social enterprise, Worth Unlimited, has today launched its new visual identity as part of a brand refresh as it enters its third decade of serving young people and communities.

Youth work with young people who are marginalised is as crucial as it has always been.  Worth Unlimited has worked for the past 20 years to connect church communities with young people and families in some of the poorest neighbourhoods in the country.

With a logo created in the 1990s, it became clear that a new fresh look and new strapline were needed which reflects the values and passion of those associated with the organisation.   Working with Birmingham-based creative agency Homer, the charity set out to create a new brand positioning that is both appealing and reflective of what makes Worth Unlimited unique.  The new ‘Big W’ logo and the strapline, ‘Inspiring Hope Together’ are the end result of this work.

Today the charity unveils a new Worth Unlimited brand that represents who they are - a family of locally driven teams, connected to one another through shared values and purpose.  It also represents the interconnectedness their workers have with the young people and families that they serve - not just delivering projects with them, but living and learning together in community, building on the strengths, skills and passions that each already have.

Commenting on the new brand, Tim Evans, CEO, said:

“Every day, as I travel the country supporting our teams of youth workers, community builders and social entrepreneurs, I hear stories of young people who are struggling to overcome the barriers that are hindering their successful transition to adulthood - most often through circumstances beyond their control.  It convinces me that here at Worth Unlimited we are needed more than ever to come alongside these young people and communities inspiring them to discover hope together.

“We know that we need to shout louder about young people and the issues that they face, and be working to unlock the gifts, skills and talents they have to help build flourishing communities, and we hope that our new, fresh logo will help us.  We want people to recognise our big W as representing an organisation that is giving the church legs to get out amongst young people and communities, to make the difference in their lives and we want to do more of it with more young people”

Matt Green, Chair of Trustees, added:

“When Worth Unlimited was founded late in 1997, it was to enable Christians to respond to the needs of marginalised young people.  Over the past 20 years we’ve helped thousands of young people and we’re really excited about the opportunity this new logo gives us to promote the work that our teams have been doing.  The interconnected ‘W’ in our logo is such an important element for us as we think about working together to serve people in the communities around us.”

To give lift-off to the brand, today the charity is also launching an exciting new website which embodies its new look and feel and showcases the various projects.
